Anti-Virus software is essential if you want to keep your computer running at all times.  Don’t be fooled into believing that you don’t need Anti-Virus software:  it can’t be stated enough-- Anti-Virus software is essential to the health of your computer.  Some people disregard the fact that Anti-Virus software is essential because they only use their computer for limited purposes.  In denying the fact that Anti-Virus software is essential however, they ultimately hurt themselves.

In today’s computing world, Anti-Virus software is essential.  Without it, you run the risk of losing the use of your computer.  Moreover, you run the risk of losing documents that are extremely important to you.  For instance, if you are in business for yourself and you store all of your business records on your computer, you wouldn’t want those records jeopardized would you?  The IRS isn’t going to care that your records were destroyed come tax time.  Thus, in order to protect you and your business, Anti-Virus software is essential.

Finally, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you that you don’t need Anti-Virus software.  Anyone who uses a computer should have such programs installed to protect their documents.  Further, if you consider your computer a pretty expensive investment, then you will want Anti-Virus software to protect that investment wouldn’t you?
